Terms of service

Wishsmbdy lets you make digital cards and send them to people you know. Use it kindly: your cards stay yours, don't put anything illegal or hurtful on them, and remember that a published card is visible to anyone who has its link. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.

You sign in with a Google account and pick a username. You need to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). Keep access to your Google account safe — anyone who can sign in with it can act as you here. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Security.

What you make is yours. You keep all rights to the content you put on your cards. So that the app can work, you give us permission to store that content, and to display and deliver it — to you in the editor, and to the people you share a card with.

Publishing a card freezes a copy of it and creates a private link. Anyone with the link can open the card, so share it deliberately. You can unpublish at any time, which takes the link out of service; publishing again replaces the frozen copy with the current card.

Only add content you have the right to use — your own work, or media you found through the app's built-in searches.

Don't use Wishsmbdy to make or share:

• anything illegal, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• harassment, threats, hate, or content targeting a person to harm them;
• sexual content involving minors, in any form;
• scams, spam, malware, or links designed to deceive;
• other people's private information without their consent.

Every card has a report link. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules, and we may take a card's link out of service while we look into a report.

Also: don't try to break the service — no probing for security holes on other people's data, scraping, or bulk automated use.

The built-in searches (Unsplash, GIPHY, Jamendo, Spotify) are provided under those services' own terms, and you agree to use them only through the app as intended. A Spotify song on a card plays through Spotify's own embedded player — how much of the song a viewer hears depends on their Spotify account, which is between them and Spotify.

Wishsmbdy — its design, name, and code — belongs to its operator. The service is provided free and “as is”: we work to keep it running and your cards safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, fast, or bug-free, and features may change or be retired. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us to use it — which today is nothing.

You can stop using Wishsmbdy and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll be proportionate about it — a report against one card doesn't nuke an account.
